The Physics & Earth Sciences Department is an interdisciplinary department that offers courses in Physics, Earth Sciences (including astronomy, geology and meteorology) and Science Education.  The Department is currently chaired by Dr. Ali Antar (Office in Room NC 506).  The Department Secretary is Mrs. Sandra O'Day.

 

The Department currently has 12 full-time faculty members, and additional staff and part-time faculty.  We offer over 80 different undergraduate and graduate level courses in Physics, Earth Science and Science Education.  Our courses are taught by experts in their field, many of whom are actively engaged in ongoing research programs.
