The Spring 2008 Joint meeting of the New England sections of American Physical Society (APS-NES), and the American Association of Physics Teachers (AAPT-NES) was held at the United States Coast Guard Academy New London Connecticut on Friday and Saturday April 4 and 5 2008. The Fall 2007 Joint meeting of APS-NES/AAPT-NES was held on Friday-Saturday October 19-20, 2007 at the University of Connecticut, Storrs.  The theme of the meeting was Carbon in the 21st Century. The Spring 2007 Joint meeting of APS-NES/AAPT-NES was held on Friday-Saturday April 20-21, 2007 at the University of Maine, Orono, ME.  The theme of the meeting was Statistical Physics and Applications. Please click here for more information. 

The Fall 2006 Joint meeting of APS-NES and AAPT-NES was held at the College of the Holy Cross on Oct. 13 and 14 2006.  The theme of the meeting was the Physics of Sports.  The talks included kinematics, materials development, statistics of sports, and the Questec system for checking baseball umpires.  De-Ping Yang (dyang@holycross.edu) and Matthew Koss (mkoss@holycross.edu)  organized the meeting. The Spring 2006 Joint meeting of the New England sections of American Physical Society (APS-NES), and the American Association of Physics Teachers (AAPT-NES) was held on Friday and Saturday March 31 - April 1, 2006 at Boston University.
